Bathroom Wall Heaters

During winter, wouldn’t it be great if you can go inside a warm bathroom after getting up from your warm bed.  It is now possible through the help of bathroom wall heaters.  No more walking inside a cold chilly bathroom on winter mornings.

A bathroom wall heater can be an important appliance in a home especially for homes located in cold areas.  It can lessen the chances of getting a cold when one is taking a shower or bath because of the cold air inside the bathroom.   Aside from this, one advantage of using a bathroom heater is it can eliminate the humidity and moisture normally associated with the bathroom.  As an effect, mold and bacteria which thrive in humid environments will stop growing in the bathroom.  It can also prevent the growth of mildew on bathroom wall panels.

There are two (2) different styles of bathroom heater available in the market.  One style is the overhead heater while the other one is the wall mounted heater.  The most common style is the overhead heater which normally includes a radiant heater, fan and a light.  While the wall mounted heater is more elegant since they are thin and looks modern that can be placed anywhere in the bathroom.

The overhead heaters are used to produce heat for a particular area.  With a model that includes a fan, aside from a particular area, it can also disseminate the heat towards the floor and away from bathroom wall art.  There are also other heaters that can have another function aside from heating the bathroom.  They can also function as towel warmers, which is an added bonus.  This not only heats up your bathroom but everytime you get out of the shower it would feel good to use a warm towel to dry you up.

Always check your local building code or rules before installing bathroom wall heaters.  Since the bathroom heater uses electricity or gas which is known to have a hazardous reaction with water, it is better to consult with a professional regarding its installation.  Proper ventilation is also important to ensure that no dangerous chemicals will be trapped inside the bathroom.  Better yet have an electrician or contractor install it to be sure that it is installed properly and safely.
